2010 has come to an end but there is still plenty of time to set goals & reach them if you’re ready to put your mind to it! No matter what your dreams may be, they are only as attainable as you allow them to be.
Remember to set your standard high & believe in your potential- more than anything life is mental challenge- a series of events & situations that require us to take action & challenge our confidence. Making it to the top takes focus, determination, patience, consistency, faith in yourself, & true perseverance to push through & make it to the end no matter what. It is not for the faint of heart or for those who create limitations for themselves.
Evolve into the person you wish to be & create the life you want! With the new year comes an opportunity to put your best foot forward, learn from your mistakes, & make necessary changes to be a better person. Dig deep into your heart & soul to find the root of what you’re truly passionate about & go for your dreams full force! xoxo!♥♥♥
On a side Note…
I woke up this morning thinking, “Wow, I’m already 12 weeks out from my next competition!” That’s just ridiculous! 12 weeks is a long time- that’s 3 months! 3 months of my life that are about to fly by because all I’m doing is counting down the weeks, days, hours, minutes, seconds till my next competition, till my next meal, till my next workout…it never ends. Then before you know it, that show is over & it’s on to the next. Years fly by in no time & it’s so easy to get caught up in this whirl wind of competing & lose sight of what the big picture is. Competitions are just one example of how when we’re not careful we can get stuck in routine & miss out on so many opportunities & a chance to really live! This is very common. I don’t know how many people I know who, although may love their jobs or careers, are stuck in a money making rut- a vicious cycle with no end. I personally notice that it’s more the men who get caught up in this than women. Most men instinctively have the need, desire, & drive to create a solid foundation for themselves, becoming as financially stable as possible whether it be to feed their own ego’s, support their family or future family, & like the rest of us, to survive in this economy! Women too get trapped in this. It’s the women who are dedicated to their careers & lifestyles that forget how to have happiness & enjoyment outside of that- I’m the first to stand up & say, “I’m THAT woman!” Sometimes I live my life so black & white that I miss out on the little pleasures in life.
Balance is definitely key & I choose to live life with No regrets, only lessons learned! Know when to live it up & when to put yourself in check but remember life isn’t so black & white- enjoy the shades of gray! ♥ My #1 resolution this coming year is to bring balance & peace to every aspect of my life!
“I believe that the things you really want in life will come to you when you least expect it but even still I choose to live my life with intention & purpose!”
